A Woman’s Place is part of the MFI Recovery Center network and is a CARF accredited, non-profit corporation dedicated to helping women overcome addiction and get back on the path to a sober and healthy life. This facility provides inpatient addiction treatment to women, women with children, and adolescents.
Treatment at this facility is evidence-based and tailored to the needs of each patient. Women who have young children may also bring them to treatment where they will be taken care of in the on-site daycare center. For children who are of school age, there is an elementary school within walking distance so they do not fall behind in their studies. These childcare programs allow the mothers to recover without having to worry about leaving their children while in treatment and also help put them at ease knowing their children are being well taken care of.
Programs at A Woman’s Place are designed by women who have gone through the same addiction struggles as the patients and know the unique needs of women in treatment. Upon admission to the program, each woman will be given an assessment to customize their treatment plan and make individualized recovery goals. From there, women will attend a variety of therapy groups and life skills development classes so patients can learn how to recognize the triggers that lead to drug and alcohol abuse and how to effectively deal with those situations. Treatment typically lasts 30-45 days but depends on the needs of each woman.
A Woman’s Place accepts a variety of private insurance plans as well as offers private-pay and financing options to ensure everyone has access to the treatment that they need.
