Arisa Health brought together four of Arkansas’ leading behavioral health providers to create an integrated behavioral health system. Locations are available in Bentonville, Jonesboro, North Little Rock, Fayetteville, and many other Arkansas cities.

Arisa Health provides an array of services tailored to meet the individual needs of clients, using a variety of evidence-based care practices. The care team includes social workers, professional counselors, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, behavioral health specialists, and addiction counselors.

Counseling, education programs, intensive children services, case management, treatment planning, and care coordination are some of the recovery services offered. This treatment location offers outpatient services, but people in need of live-in care may be referred to Arisa Health’s residential treatment centers in nearby cities.

For immediate help, Arisa Health partners with the Conway Police Department, Jonesboro Police Department, and Craighead County Sheriff’s Office creating crisis response teams.

Community Service, Inc. (CSI) was founded in 1958 by Conway County Circuit Judge Audrey Strait. The main purpose of CSI was to “combat juvenile delinquency,” and the organization does this through providing substance use prevention, education, treatment, and other services, including those related to juvenile justice.

CSI’s substance abuse treatment program is based upon the disease model and concept. Utilization of psychoeducation and a 12-step program of recovery may be a part of the treatment process. Treatment services include diagnostic, assessment, and referral services in addition to addiction and chemical abuse/dependency counseling.

Anyone can make a referral to the substance abuse program for adolescents and teenagers ages 13 to 19 years facing substance abuse issues. Adolescents must be functioning at an age equivalent of 11 years or above, mentally, emotionally, and behaviorally, to receive treatment here.

Counseling Associates serves 10 counties in the state of Arkansas with innovative, evidence-based substance abuse and mental health treatment. The organization offers behavioral health services in Conway, Morrilton, Perryville, Russellville, Heber Springs, Clinton, Clarksville, Danville, and more.

Outpatient services can be scheduled during the day or after normal working hours to minimize conflicts with family and work commitments, with same-day access often available. Addiction treatment services provided include counseling for adolescents and adults, medication-assisted treatment, and services for people with co-occurring disorders. Population-specific group therapy is also available.

Also offered are legal services, such as DWI/DUI classes and multiple offenders groups (MOG).

Life Strategies Counseling offers counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups in a safe, caring, and supportive environment. Locations include Batesville, Blytheville, Cabot, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Marion, Osceola, Paragould, Pocahontas, Pottsville, Rogers, and Trumann.

A type of therapy utilized by this facility includes behavior modification, where clients are taught skills to monitor and alter undesirable behaviors, such as impulsivity. Clients are then assisted in implementing the techniques at home, school or work, and in the community.

Parents and teachers are included in structuring and implementing the behavior modification plan for adolescents. Techniques used in behavior modification include positive and negative reinforcement, extinction, creating a rewards menu and token economy, and teaching parents the behavior plan.

Clients meet one-on-one with a mental health professional or paraprofessional, usually in 50-minute sessions.
