The Broward House aims to improve the quality of life and overall wellness for people with HIV facing drug or alcohol addiction. Every year, 280 clients receive behavioral health services, and 350 receive support for opioid addiction and other substance use disorders.

This facility’s treatment center is called the Institute of Success and Personal Achievement (ISPA). ISPA provides each client with a personalized combination of self-help approaches, individual and group therapies, work training, pro-social activities, and more to help them get their lives back on track. Cove Behavioral Health was started in 1973 as the Drug Abuse Comprehensive Coordinating Office (DACCO). For over 50 years now, Cove has served the Hillsborough, Polk, and surrounding areas with chemical dependency treatment.

The clinical team at Cove includes licensed mental health counselors, social workers, family therapists, care coordinators, and peer specialists. The main outpatient services available include group and individual therapy sessions, case management, parenting support, and peer support. Individual and group sessions are offered in person and via telehealth during both day and evening hours.

Additional services include family education, urine drug screens, overdose prevention education, smoking cessation, and aftercare planning.

Its outpatient addiction treatment center in West Palm Beach offers preventive services in addition to treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the most intensive level of care available, with sessions taking place during the day or evening to accommodate clients’ schedules. A comfortable, 32-bed waterfront residence is also available for clients with sober housing needs. This residence includes an in-ground pool, a volleyball court, and fishing and kayaking opportunities.

The next level of treatment is the IOP, a less restrictive level of outpatient care. Clients in the IOP have often transitioned from inpatient treatment and have returned to living at home but require additional care.

Finally, the standard outpatient program has clients engage in individual and group therapy sessions three days a week. They may also participate in educational groups, where they learn more about the disease of addiction.

Pan American provides outpatient addiction recovery services to adolescents, adults, and older adults through a therapy-based curriculum.

After a thorough assessment and evaluation to determine the client’s treatment needs, therapists provide individual and/or family therapy in the client’s home, in the clinic, or via telehealth.

Comprehensive services also include psychiatric evaluation and medication management for clients with a dual diagnosis, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for people requiring more intensive care, and MAT services.

This clinic can provide a multicultural approach to treatment and provides services in Arabic, Creole, and French, as well as Spanish and English.
