While there are affordable, low-cost or free substance abuse treatment options in Idaho, locating them can be a daunting task. That’s why we have compiled the list of free or low-cost drug and alcohol treatment centers in Idaho.

Free Or Low-Cost Idaho Rehab Centers

When compared to the national average, Idaho has reported lower rates of substance abuse and overdoses that result in death.

Adding those statistics to an already low population means two things for residents of Idaho:

  1. Idaho receives less funding due to lower population
  2. additional funding is less likely to be allocated to fund drug and alcohol rehab services

Treatment facilities that do not receive government funding may be expensive unless they have other means to offset the cost of treatment. These facilities also may not openly advertise that they have financial assistance available to people who qualify.

Idaho has seen an increase in opioid use and substance abuse in children under the age of twelve, with many reporting alcohol dependence as well. Providing affordable treatment options for drug and alcohol abuse in Idaho may help solve the drug and alcohol abuse problem that seems to be growing in Idaho.

As of now, the following facilities offer substance abuse treatment services in Idaho at low-cost or free of charge.
