BestCare is a provider of behavioral health services, specializing in treatment for mental health issues, alcohol and drug abuse, problem gambling, and other issues. The facility is the only rehab program in the state that provides Spanish-language services.

Motivational interviewing is the cornerstone of all addiction treatment programs offered at BestCare, but many other approaches are also used. Some of these include peer support groups, psychoeducation, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and therapy via individual, group, and family sessions.

Residential treatment here typically lasts 24 to 45 days. Clients receive medical and psychiatric support and have access to a broad range of wellness activities and alternative treatments, including yoga, mindfulness practices, and acupuncture.

Service is not denied to anyone based on their inability to afford treatment. BestCare has locations in Redmond, Bend, Klamath Falls, Madras, and Prineville.

Cascadia Health is a community-based behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment center offering outpatient services.

Treatment plans here may include detox services, individual counseling, education on the effects of substance abuse, relapse prevention, and more. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is offered for people with opioid dependency. Also offered are DUI education and other services to aid clients needing to complete requirements mandated by a judge or court.

People can call directly to inquire about services, or be referred from other organizations for MAT. Cascadia will refer to a community partner for people who need more intensive, live-in care.

Cascadia supports clients with housing assistance, such as housing search and placement services. Through permanent supportive housing, clients can also access ongoing mental health services, including case management, skills training, counseling, MAT, and crisis intervention.

Fora Health, formerly known as De Paul Treatment Centers, is one of the oldest and largest drug rehab centers in Oregon. The treatment facility offers services for drug and alcohol addiction, mental health disorders, and co-occurring issues.

The adult residential program accommodates up to 70 clients, providing a structured schedule and substance-free environment with 24-hour support and care. The average time spent in residential treatment here ranges from 90 to 120 days. However, some clients may stay in treatment shorter or longer based on their progress.

Psychosocial treatments for substance use disorders at Fora Health include peer recovery support, behavioral therapy, family therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, MAT services, and more. These evidence-based approaches are complemented with acupuncture, chiropractic care, dietary and nutritional services, guided meditation, yoga, walking or running groups, art projects, cooking classes, and cultural events for a holistic recovery experience.

New Priorities Family Services is a non-profit facility that provides outpatient treatment for mental health disorders including drug and alcohol addiction. The facility offers evidence-based therapies for substance dependency issues, education on drugs and alcohol, DUI classes, family programs, and more.

The Alcohol and Drug Outpatient Treatment Program at New Priorities provides an integrated approach to addressing both substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders simultaneously. Typically, a standard treatment plan spans about 12 weeks, but this may vary based on individual client needs.

Clients commonly access the program through self-referral, recommendations from friends and family, referrals from community partners, or via adjudication through the court system.

OnTrack Rogue Valley is a rehab facility that provides family-centered addiction treatment to support both individual and family recovery and healing. Residential treatment is provided for pregnant and parenting women with children, fathers with children, and single adults. Outpatient services are also available for adolescents. Clinics are located in Medford, Grants Pass, and Cave Junction.

The OnTrack residential programs provide services and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for adults with substance use disorders and include a wide range of evidence-based treatments plus skills-training and wellness-oriented activities.

Programs encourage family involvement and visits to support healthy connections and recovery. The facility also offers care coordination, including collaboration with medical and mental health professionals and connection with MAT clinics and pharmacies.

Rimrock Trails Treatment Services is a behavioral health care center that provides outpatient counseling for adults, adolescents, and families. Residential treatment services are available for adolescent clients ages 12 to 17. The facility maintains clinics in Bend, Redmond, and Prineville.

Located in Prineville, the Adolescent Residential Treatment Program stands as one of just five such programs in the state of Oregon. This program provides round-the-clock structured care, affording teens the opportunity to distance themselves from negative influences present in their social environments. Through stabilizing and progressing through the initial stages of abstinence, the program aids adolescents in developing distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills crucial for leading more positive and fulfilling lives.

The Bend Counseling Clinic offers professional counseling services catering to individuals of all ages, couples, and families residing in Deschutes County. At the Redmond location, therapists specialize in addressing the social and emotional mental health needs of young children ages 0-5.

Serenity Lane is a private, nonprofit network of addiction treatment centers located throughout the state of Oregon, including in Coburg, Eugene, Portland, Albany, Bend, Roseburg, and Salem. A continuum of care is provided for adults ages 18 and older.

The level I outpatient program at the Eugene location meets for 1.5 hours once a week. The program teaches clients how to identify and manage stressful life events and cope with the ups and downs of early addiction recovery.

The more intensive level I IOP is a 10-week program offering many services, including group therapy, individual counseling, and education about substance use disorders. The level II IOP is more intensive and meets for three hours, three times per week at one of Serenity Lane’s outpatient clinic locations.

Willamette Family Center provides alcohol and drug treatment, including detoxification services. Gender-specific treatment services are available for male and female clients. Additional services are also provided, which include primary care, family services, peer support, and transitional services.

Evidence-based and alternative methods of therapy may be part of a client’s treatment plan at any of the Willamette Family facilities.

Examples include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), a form of psychotherapy that helps people manage difficult emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve overall well-being. Attachment-based therapy focuses on the importance of the relationship between a person and their primary caregiver.

The Franklin Reality Model is a problem-solving approach that helps clients identify the barriers that prevent them from achieving their goals, while eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is used to help clients who have experienced trauma or other distressing events.
