Scouring the internet for low-cost or free substance abuse treatment programs is time-consuming. We have put together a list of affordable drug and alcohol abuse facilities in Rhode Island.

Free Or Low-Cost Rhode Island Rehab Centers

Rhode Island has felt the destruction of opioids, like Vicodin, heroin, and fentanyl. For the last several years, Rhode Island has had more than 25 overdose deaths per month that were fentanyl-related.

Federal funding allocated to Rhode Island in 2018 was more than four times the funding in 2017. With more than 50 million dollars in funds specifically for substance abuse treatment, it seems that Rhode Island has started to see some positive results, as the number of overdoses has gone down.

The increase in funding has led to changes in the availability and quality of drug and alcohol rehab facilities. These changes to programs can increase funding opportunities so individuals can afford to attend substance abuse treatment.

The rehabilitation facilities listed below are available as low-cost or free substance abuse treatment locations.
