About Arrow Passage Recovery

Arrow Passage Recovery provides 24-hour medical, clinical, and emotional support for adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Residential care is followed by outpatient treatment for a comprehensive approach to recovery.

Residential treatment begins with an assessment to develop an individualized treatment plan, with patients progressing through treatment according to their needs rather than following a fixed 30-day schedule. Care may include individual and group therapy, medication-assisted treatment, and dual diagnosis treatment.

Integrative Therapy and Family Support

Arrow Passage uses an Integrative Therapy Model that incorporates CBT, elements of DBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, art therapy, and individual counseling.

The program also incorporates the Matrix Model, family education, relapse-prevention work, and 12-step principles. Treatment plans address factors such as trauma, cravings, triggers, and stages of change.

A Step-Down Approach to Recovery

The residential program, typically 45 to 90 days, is followed by approximately 12 weeks of non-residential treatment, although treatment length varies by patient.

Arrow Passage offers this continuum of care so that patients can seamlessly progress from residential treatment to PHP, IOP, and standard outpatient treatment as they are ready, with additional aftercare support provided.

What Makes Arrow Passage Recovery Unique?

Arrow Passage emphasizes long-term recovery and reintegration into everyday life, rather than focusing only on stopping substance use. Residential treatment addresses practical areas of recovery, including coping skills, relationships, healthy routines, and preparation for returning to the community.

The 8-acre residential setting provides patients with a peaceful, home-like environment away from many of the triggers and stresses of everyday life. The spacious grounds include a swimming pool and opportunities for other recreational and holistic activities in support of recovery.

Levels of Care

Inpatient/Residential

Live at the facility with 24/7 clinical care, usually 30 to 90 days.

Outpatient/Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Scheduled therapy while living at home — from once a week up to several sessions a week.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

Daytime clinical program — about 5 hours a day, most days of the week. Sleep at home or sober living.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

FDA-approved medication plus counseling to reduce cravings and withdrawal, mainly for opioid or alcohol use disorder.

Mental Health PHP and IOP

Same intensity as PHP or IOP, but the clinical focus is mental health rather than addiction.

Outpatient

Weekly individual or group therapy while living and working as usual.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

A few therapy sessions per week, a few hours each. Live at home; keep work or school.

Your cell phone and/or laptop will be put away and kept safe in a separate area.

In extenuating circumstances, we have allowed patients access to their devices.

Yes, our A.R.C.H. Program (Accountability, Recovery, Community, and Hope) offers a range of alumni events, including opportunitites to volunteer with our community partners.

Family and loved ones are very important to the success of our patients. We include the members of our patients’ support systems from the very beginning, meeting with everyone to let them know what to expect and who their contact points are. They are also encouraged to engage in counseling sessions together with their loved one and their loved one’s counselor while in treatment.

My name is John Stone and if you want the real review of this place, I’m gonna be 100% honest with you. I spent 113 days there, was it worth it? Absolutely changed my life. I did not do no complaining about things That were meant to be grateful for Sam. My counselor was on point with not bullshitting me. Justin was a very good person as well. Ashley the nurse took the time to really help me on my medication‘s trying and doing the ones that were really worth for me and I’m so grateful today to be calm and not be so full of energy, but enough to just Focus. Rachel absolutely sweetheart, and she does all kinds of great things for the clients. Xavier was one of the best teachers that we had along with Nautica. She was a very straightforward, not letting us bullshit our way out of it, but focusing on the real problem me! This place has given me what I needed. I’ve been in addiction now for over 20 years in my life, but sometimes you just gotta quit complaining take a good hard look at yourself and start changing things and that’s what they help. All of these people help me. Do I give this five stars The rooms are magnificent TV in every room bathroom in every room only complaints I’ve seen came from people who absolutely did not want to change or hear any other person’s view. I Love, aero passages, they help me get rid of me the biggest problem there was thank you aero passages for saving my life taking the time to be straight with me. The people who didn’t make it were just not willing to take a suggestion if you really want to change your life this is the place to go 100% truthful from my heart

The place is very comfortable and everyone is very welcoming. The counselors are very professional and extremely nice. Most groups at Arrow are very informative, fun and enjoyable. They also provide food at both the house and office. And you can do Walmart orders or have family and friends bring other foods/snacks to the office to take back to the house while you stay.

Arrow Passage Recovery is a program that truly gives you what you need if you’re willing to show up and do the work. The help is absolutely there, but this is a place where you genuinely get out of it what you put into it. If you come in with a bad mindset or resistance, you’re probably going to have a rough time — but that’s true of recovery anywhere. Going in with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude makes a difference in every single aspect of the process here.

What stood out most to me was the expert level of care combined with real kindness and humanity. The staff doesn’t just tell you what to do — they guide you, support you, and give you the tools to take control of your own recovery journey. You’re not treated like a number. The employees truly care, from the techs to the clinical staff, and it shows every day.

The clinical team is exceptional, and my counselor Danielle quite literally was a lifesaver for me. Her support, honesty, and commitment to my growth helped me through moments when I didn’t think I could keep going. Having someone who genuinely listens and believes in you can change everything, and that’s what I experienced here.

The environment itself is structured, safe, and supportive — and honestly, it’s better than jail by a long shot. Meals are decent and consistent, which matters more than people realize when you’re trying to rebuild your life. And Ashley’s waffles deserve their own recognition — easily the best breakfast in town and something I still talk about.

This program gave me guidance, accountability, and hope, but it also taught me that recovery is self-driven. Arrow Passage provided the foundation, and I had to choose to build on it. Because of that combination — their guidance and my willingness — I can say that I owe my life to this program. As of today, I am 83 days clean, and I am living proof that this program works if you work it.

I’m incredibly grateful for Arrow Passage Recovery and the people who made a real difference in my life. I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about recovery and ready to give themselves a chance.

I want to thank Cris and the team for helping us.

I initially found Arrow Passage recovery online and spoke with Cris in May 2025. She has an amazing voice and her calmness and thoughtfulness helped me as a parent Arrow Passage.
In October 2025, our son made the decision to get help through Arrow Passage. Brianna in the team have been helpful in teaching him tools and encouraging him.
