About Elk Ridge Recovery
Elk Ridge Recovery provides comprehensive addiction treatment in a private, upscale setting designed to support all aspects of recovery. Patients receive clinical care, including for co-occurring mental health disorders, in a calm, home-like environment set against the backdrop of Montana’s natural beauty.
Outdoor recreation including nature-based activities like guided hikes along with mindfulness and other holistic activities are incorporated alongside traditional treatment.
Whole-Person Treatment
Treatment is individualized and may include individual and group therapy, CBT, DBT skills, EMDR, family therapy, medication-assisted treatment, relapse prevention, and case management. Elk Ridge also emphasizes life-skills and vocational development, helping patients build routines, job-readiness skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose as part of long-term recovery.
A Full Continuum of Care
Rather than focusing solely on residential treatment, Elk Ridge offers a continuum that includes medical detox, residential inpatient care, PHP, IOP, outpatient services, and aftercare. The center also provides recovery coaching, peer support, alumni services, and sober-living guidance.
Its combination of clinical treatment, outdoor experiences, vocational support, and continuing care gives the program a distinctive focus on helping patients build fulfilling lives beyond treatment.
A Home-Like Setting Surrounded by Montana’s Beauty
Elk Ridge Recovery is designed to feel more like a comfortable home than a traditional clinical facility, with private, comfortable accommodations, peaceful common areas, and a supportive community atmosphere. The setting gives patients a place to rest, connect with others, and focus on treatment while maintaining a sense of privacy and stability.
The surrounding Montana landscape adds another dimension to the experience, with wide-open spaces, fresh air, and scenic natural surroundings providing opportunities for mindfulness, outdoor activities, and reflection.
