No. For the safety, privacy, and focus of all clients, personal cell phones and laptops are not permitted during treatment.
Cigarette smoking is allowed in designated areas. Vapes, chewing tobacco, and similar products are not permitted. Nicotine patches and Nicorette gum are available upon request.
Clients may receive visitors after a 3-day blackout period. Visitation must be approved by the client’s counselor, and only individuals who support recovery will be allowed. Visits take place on Sundays during scheduled times based on last name. Visitors must be approved by Thursday of that week.

Not everyday is going to be perfect but it's what you make it , some days I wanted to quit and I saw people come and go but if you can stick through it the first 30days it gets better at the next stage .
The paired me with the right housemates in PHP , we grilled on the 4th and had a lot of fun on outings ... Seems like all of the staff goes out their way to help you ... They may be a little disorganized at times but other than that everything I've experienced was great... The food is hit or miss , they told me it was jerk chicken but I don't know what the hell they had going on with that . 😂 ..... But being sober and doing these activities showed me I don't need any type of substance to have a good time.

The Therapist and Case Managers are the best part of this program. Priscilla was my therapist and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me , Thullie was my case manager and she

My insurance cut me off halfway through but they still kept me! They have a great staff especially those who are calling the shots!! Miss Ashley is the best an so is the Queen!! This place takes care of you feeds you very very well...you don't have to want for anything they clothe you find you a safe place to go they go to court for you...If your trying to get clean an lead a productive life this place is the perfect stepping stone! I highly recommend mainsprings in Dumfries Virginia!!
My experience there was amazing and different. Some people were there to actually get themselves together and some people were there just to hold up space. I enjoyed it the whole way through because it actually taught me a lot about myself that I didn't even realize was wrong with me. It was truly an honor to be at Mainspring
