About The Haven Detox
The Haven Detox in Puerto Rico is a Joint Commission-accredited addiction treatment center on the island’s western coast near Borinquen, offering small, private bilingual care (Spanish and English) in a setting that was fully renovated in 2026. The facility treats alcohol, opioids, cocaine, stimulants, benzodiazepines, and polysubstance use alongside co-occurring mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and PTSD through dual diagnosis treatment with personalized one-on-one attention.
Treatment includes medical detox with 24/7 supervision, residential rehab programs, family therapy, and lifelong alumni support combining evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused care with medication-assisted treatment and holistic services such as tai chi and experiential therapy addressing root causes rather than just symptoms.
The upscale facility features brand new indoor spaces and scenic outdoor areas with beach outings, recreational therapy, game room, laundry and housekeeping services, and airport pickup from Rafael Hernández or Luis Muñoz Marín International Airports serving San Juan, Bayamón, Carolina, Ponce, Caguas, Guaynabo, and throughout the island. The Haven Detox is one of very few rehabilitation centers in the area where insurance covers most or sometimes all treatment costs.

Inpatient/Residential

Aftercare Support
Ongoing support after treatment — alumni groups, check-ins, sober coaching, and meeting referrals.
