This is a dicey review - only because everybody has their own different experiences with places like this. My personal opinion, don’t take reviews to heart. Everyone’s experience is different. Mine personally, was amazing. The staff was amazing. I’ve never stayed in a treatment center that long in my life… if you knew me, that would say a lot. I have been in and out of these facilities over 15+ years.
It was very clean, I love the food, The rooms in residential were like a hotel room. They were beautiful. Best of all, the staff. From the techs all the way up to leadership, great people! The cleaning staff were on point! Huge shout out to Jordyn, Ashley, Anthony, Nick V, Roni, Rick, Penny, Corey, Harriet, Shay, Matt, and most of all my therapist, Jason. I don’t think I’ve would’ve stayed the amount of time that I stayed without my therapist, Jason. Along with the support from the staff. It was a great group of people when I was there. Truly amazing people, that wanted better. The only cons I can say about this facility, is the lack of communication between the departments. Nursing, techs and leadership are all on different communication levels, which can be become very complicated for the client. They should be more aware of medications that people need daily, so clients are not running out of medication’s… The techs need to be trained across the board on what’s right and what’s not right. Each tech had a different opinion or decision on something, with certain people.. That was the only real negative experience I had at this facility. Everything else was great, the staff and the clients!
As I said, don’t take peoples reviews to heart. Everyone has a different experience when they’re going through this type of thing. I am very grateful for the support I had at The Haven in West Palm Beach. Truly. 🙏
I can genuinely say The Haven is an amazing place for anyone who truly has the desire to get sober and change their life.
The facility itself is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, but what really makes this place is the people. The staff, nurses, therapists, and especially the techs are loving, supportive, and genuinely care about the clients. They help you through the uncomfortable parts of detox, make sure you are safe and cared for, and are there when you’re struggling physically, mentally, or emotionally.
One thing I learned is that recovery really is what you make it, and so much of it starts in your own mind. No treatment center can do the work for you, but the right one can give you a safe place, the support, and the people you need while you learn how to do that work for yourself.
The Haven is a rehab. If you’re looking for a vacation, take an actual vacation. Treatment isn’t always going to be comfortable or go exactly how you want it to. Getting sober means being uncomfortable sometimes. It means listening, participating, being honest, accepting help, and showing up even when you don’t feel like it.
If your desire is sobriety, this is your place.
The staff will help you through detox, provide medical care and medication when appropriate, feed you, give you a clean and comfortable place to rest, and most importantly, treat you like a human being during a time when you may not feel much like yourself.
I have a lot of respect and gratitude for the people at The Haven, especially the techs and client care, who are there with clients through the everyday moments that people on the outside don’t always see.
Come here ready to put your part in and do what you came here to do. The Haven will give you the environment and support to take those first steps. What you choose to build from there is up to you.

I was so scared and nervous upon just asking for help. Thank you God I came here the staff are so caring and understanding no judgment was passed at. Morning noon or night they are here for you. The facility its self is 10/10 the staff is 109% on your side ready to listen and help. Most places you have to tell half truths here NOPE the all understood where you are coming from and are so. Amazing and down to earth and couldn’t be better. This has been the best experience of my life and after detox they make all the arrangements for you and are more than happy to do.
