Federal Grant Awards For Treatment Facilities
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) awarded a $1 million grant to the State of Oklahoma in August 2021.
This grant is intended to help improve treatment and offer support for adolescents who are in need of mental health services.
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) will receive up to $1 million each year over the course of five years for this grant. They will conduct outreach, refer adolescents to treatment facilities, and remove barriers to care.
