Free Rehab Iowa | 14 Free Or Low-Cost Iowa Rehab Centers

Published on

Iowa has over one hundred substance abuse rehabilitation centers in the state, many with financial assistance. The centers listed below are low-cost or free drug and alcohol abuse treatment facilities in Iowa.

Free Or Low-Cost Iowa Rehab Centers

Substance abuse in Iowa has been lower than most other states for the last several years. In fact, Iowa has ranked as the 2nd lowest state for illicit drug use in the country. In general, substance use in Iowa has not shown a drastic increase like other states.

While an overall positive, it limits government funding available for addiction services. This reduces the number of free or low-cost drug and alcohol rehab centers. With an average of 28,000 per year enrolling in drug and alcohol abuse programs, access to substance abuse services becomes even more limited.

Locating a low-cost or free drug and alcohol treatment facility can prove to be more difficult in a state with lower funding. This list provides information about these drug and alcohol treatment facilities in Iowa.
