4. New Bridge Medical Center (Evergreen Treatment Center)

Formerly known as Bergen Regional, New Bridge Medical Center offers substance abuse rehabilitation options for individuals struggling with addiction. Short-term detoxification, residential treatment, and outpatient services are all offered through the Evergreen Treatment Center at New Bridge.

This medical center accepts many different insurances, both private and state policies. Substance abuse treatment may be paid for by a program offered called Charity Care. By providing proof of income and residency, or support letters if a person has no income or residence, services may be low-cost or free to clients.

5-9. Princeton House

The inpatient facility at Princeton can house up to 110 individuals. The campus features a 21-bed crisis unit where they help stabilize individuals struggling with psychiatric and co-occurring diagnoses who have met the criteria for involuntary hospitalization. Both short and long-term residential substance abuse options are available here.

There are also multiple outpatient drug and alcohol treatment options across New Jersey through Princeton House.

The women’s residential substance abuse rehab in Paterson accepts women with children.
