2. Centerstone

Centerstone offers a range of drug and alcohol abuse treatment options. In Indiana, Centerstone provides different services, such as outpatient substance abuse counseling, addiction recovery services, peer-run recovery centers, and drop-in rehab services. These facilities can be found in Bloomington, Bedford, Columbus, Connersville, Greenwood, Madison, Nashville, New Castle, and other cities across Indiana.

Fairbanks offers the following substance abuse treatment options:

4. Four County Counseling Center

Four County provides outpatient addiction rehab services to Miami, Pulaski, Fulton, and Cass counties of Northern Indiana. In addition to outpatient substance abuse counseling, Four County also has 24-hour emergency crisis support available, home-based programs for at-risk children, and acute stabilization services.

The cost of service is based on ability to pay.

5. Hope House Addiction Recovery Center

Hope House offers substance abuse recovery treatment for men seeking sobriety. Hope House uses a program that is not based on a time frame, recovery is individually based. In this three-tier program, privileges are granted as treatment progresses. This is an extremely structured environment in which standards and rules must be followed.

6. La Verna Lodge

Laverna Lodge offers gender-specific recovery in gender-separate locations. This program allows individuals to focus on what sobriety feels like and how to move forward. Men and women participating in this program are encouraged to develop self-sufficiency while still in a structured environment.

Payment is based on services needed and can be offset by financial assistance if the person qualifies. Sometimes funds are available to make Laverna Lodge free or low-cost to individuals.

7. Southern Indiana Treatment Center

Residential substance abuse treatment is offered alongside additional treatment options for addiction at Southern Indiana Treatment Center (SITC). MATs are available for those struggling with alcohol or opioid dependence.

Each person obtaining services from SITC is assessed and an individualized treatment plan is developed. This treatment plan outlines services that will be utilized during treatment as well as cost.

Payment for services will range on individual needs and additional funding that is available. SITC does take insurance. If a person meets criteria, rates may be low-cost or free.

8. Wailing Women Win, Inc.

This 11-bed facility provides transitional housing for women struggling with addiction. Wailing Women Win exposes residents to a supportive community that they can lean on while regaining their strength and fighting substance abuse and addiction.

Residents are given housing, rehabilitation services, vocational rehab, job training, and nutritional counseling. Services are provided free of charge to those who meet financial criteria.

9. Wellstone Regional Hospital Substance Abuse Treatment

Short-term, detoxification treatment is offered to individuals who are chemically dependent on drugs or alcohol. Once the person is stable, referrals are made and substance abuse treatment can begin. Wellstone offers additional drug and alcohol abuse treatment options, including intensive outpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs.

Initial assessment for treatment is provided free of charge. Medicaid is accepted for children. Other insurances are accepted.

10. Women’s Bureau Transitions

Women with children shy away from inpatient rehab facilities, and treatment in general, because they fear losing their children while in treatment. Transitions offers inpatient substance abuse treatment for women and allow them to bring their children into treatment with them. This long-term residential program uses counseling, 12-step groups, and educational courses to address addiction and the problems that come along with substance abuse.
