17 Free Or Low-Cost Nevada Rehab Centers | Free Rehab Nevada

The ability to pay for substance abuse treatment should not be the main focus when searching for rehab for you or your loved one. This is a list of free or low-cost drug and alcohol abuse treatment facilities in Nevada.

Free Or Low-Cost Nevada Rehab Centers

Drug and alcohol abuse is nothing new to Nevada. With over seventy-five percent of the population condensed in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, it comes as no surprise that drugs and alcohol are readily available in these areas.

Nevada has been fighting the opioid epidemic for the past several years. Reported prescription drug abuse is much higher in Nevada, and the number of individuals prescribed opioid painkillers is well above the national average.

Nevada has restructured how it is using substance abuse federal funding. In 2017, the state used less than $100k on prevention and education. In 2018, over $4 million was allocated toward prevention. This was in addition to the $34 million granted to the state to combat substance abuse.

With the shifts in funding, locating addiction services that meet specific criteria can seem complicated. Adding services at current facilities or opening new substance abuse treatment centers will increase access to treatment for many Nevada residents. As these new options are rolled out, information may not be immediately available to the public. That is why this information is compiled here.

This is a recent list of Nevada drug and alcohol rehabilitation locations that are low-cost or free.
