Free Rehab Utah | 14 Free Or Low-Cost Utah Rehab Centers

Substance abuse rehabs come in all shapes and sizes. Locating one that meets all the needs of one person, while being affordable can be quite a task. The following is a list of 14 free or low-cost substance abuse treatment centers in Utah.

Free Or Low-Cost Utah Rehab Centers

Utah has ranked in the top ten for the highest rates of overdose deaths over the last decade. The numbers climbed and in 2016 over 650 people died as a result of a drug overdose. Of those, nearly 450 people died in an opioid overdose.

Substance abuse is a problem in Utah, and the state is working diligently to find a solution. The amount of federal funding allocated to the state increased by nearly $12 million for use in substance abuse recovery.

The increase in funding will help increase access and availability of many programs, as well as make treatment more affordable to those who are in desperate need of assistance. For so many, attending substance abuse treatment is simply unaffordable.

While the funds are distributed, that doesn’t always mean the substance abuse treatment facilities that receive the monies are easy to find. It can be a complicated task to locate a rehab that meets individual needs and is still within budget.

The locations below include current free or low-cost drug and alcohol abuse treatment facilities.
