5 Free Or Low-Cost California Rehab Centers | Free Rehab California

Published on

Pinpointing free or low-cost substance abuse treatment services in California can feel like looking for a needle in a haystack. The following is a list of free or affordable substance abuse treatment facilities in California.

California Free Rehab Centers

Luxury treatment facilities are common along the California coast. The majority of these drug and alcohol treatment centers are private pay, with a price tag of over $20,000 for 28 days of rehabilitation. However, there are other facilities that have more affordable options.

In California, there are drug and alcohol treatment program options that are low-cost, and sometimes free. Several locations have payment plans or loan packages for individuals with a budget.

Those people who are seeking reduced cost or even free treatment options, there are facilities that offer alternative payment options, such as:

  • scholarships
  • private donations
  • grants
  • state or county funds

Additionally, there are non-profit treatment facilities that can provide treatment by utilizing in-house funding to reduce or completely remove costs.

Facilities are not always able to provide reduced or free substance abuse treatment year-round, often a facility only has a specific amount of money each year. Once those funds are exhausted, there may not be any additional free options until the following year.

Currently, these California drug rehab locations offer low-cost or free treatment.

This list is alphabetical and in no way reflects quality of care at the different locations.
